Savings Account

Through multiple types of saving accounts, it is our primary goal to ensure that your funds are being handled safe and securely at all times.

Regular Share Savings

Our Financial Partners, must maintain a minimum balance of $5 in their Regular Share Account. This minimum deposit requirement provides a solid savings base for the Credit Union. The Board of Directors declares dividend rates to be paid on Share Accounts each quarter based on the Credit Union’s earnings. Our rates are very competitive. Dividends are paid if the ADB (Average Daily Balance) in the account is more than $100.

Senior Partners Savings

This special designation is for our members with more than 60 years of financial experience! Our Senior Partners pay NO monthly fee for their checking account, and get one box of Credit Union Image checks FREE per year.

Youth Savings

Study after study indicates that young people often lack financial literacy and are unprepared to face the financial decisions that they will make in their future. How can you help the young people in your family get off to a better financial start? Bring them to Delta Schools Federal Credit Union! We have two special programs for our young members. Both accounts may be set up so the child may or may not have access to the funds without the permission of the account owner.

Christmas Club Account Savings

Is trying save money for Christmas during the year a challenge? Delta Schools Federal Credit Union can make this task much simpler by setting up your account to have funds transferred monthly from your Credit Union Checking/Savings Account to your Xmas Club Account. If you are a District employee, you can have a portion of your Payroll Deduction go straight to your Xmas Club Account each month. Deposits may also be mailed in, walked in, deposited through Call-24 (our 24/7 Phone Teller to transfer funds), or through our Online Banking. Every October, you have the choice of having the funds in your Xmas Club Account automatically transferred to your checking account, savings account, or left in the account until you are ready for them! (There is a $10 withdrawal fee for any funds taken out prior to October) A DSFCU Xmas Club Account is the best way Santa knows to guarantee that you have HAPPY HOLIDAYS every year!

Summer Fund Account Savings

Delta Schools Federal Credit Union is now offering a special Summer Fund Account with an above market savings RATE! Our Summer Fund Account uses the convenience of payroll deduction with the benefit of allowing emergency withdrawals with a small fee of $20. The funds will be available from June thru the last banking day of August (the withdrawal fee will apply to funds taken out prior to this time period), at which time any remaining funds will be transferred to your share account. All funds must be either transferred in or directly deposited to the Summer Fund Account and cannot be manually deposited through the credit union. The Summer Fund Account is a great way to help you through those summer months all while earning a great rate during the year!
