WHY DSFCU

Why Should I Join Delta Schools FCU?

As a member of Delta Schools FCU, you will take advantage of one of the most unique financial opportunities of a lifetime. Founded in 1953 in Antioch to serve the educational community, as a member of DSFCU you will become an owner of the place you do your banking! DSFCU is owned by its members. All of the funds utilized to support the credit union come from our membership and all of the credit union’s earnings are returned to our members thru lower fees and to our community in various forms of financial and volunteer support.

What do you offer?

Desert Valleys has a full range of financial services to help you reach financial success. We strive to find new products and services to enhance how you interact with the credit union. However, we remain dedicated to certain “old” traditions like greeting you by name at the teller line and always offering a person on the phone and not an answering machine. We believe that the best part of being a small community credit union is interacting with our members.

Who can join DSFCU?

Field of membership is a term that refers to the persons who may join a particular credit union that was created to serve them. The following outlines the field of membership for DSFCU: The employees, retirees and students of Antioch Unified Schools District, employees of Oakley Union Elementary School District, Brentwood Union School District, Byron Union School District, Knightsen Elementary School District, Liberty Union School District, Students of Freedom High School in Oakley and members of their immediate families, and organizations of such persons.
How much does it cost?

Any person who is in our field of membership can join the credit union for a $5 membership deposit.
